monoral is a Japanese rock band.
This band came out with the debut album "In Stereo" in 2001 July. Members are called Anis Shimada(Vo.) and Ali Morizumi(Bass.).
Anis is Japanese-Moroccan who speaks Japanese, English, French, and Arabic. He used to be a fashion model and sometimes he used to support some famous musicians' performing on TV etc as a guitarist at that time. He is often involved with TV commercial songs, other famous musicians' songs as chorus and narration for TV commercials besides monoral at the moment.
Ali is Japanese-American grew up in Tokyo.He can speak both Japanese and English fluently, so it was very useful for VJ and DJ. So he used to be on music TV shows like *MTV as a VJ a lot. He's still on TV show called "Self Liner Notes" on *MUSIC ON! TV at the moment. He's a radio DJ as well. He doesn't have any shows on radio at the moment, but formerly had one at Inter FM .
Support members are *Tomoya Tsutsui(G.) and Jun Matsumoto(Dr.) support famous musicians and bands not only in Japan.
*Eric Zay (G.) compose some songs for TV commercials a lot.

Anyway, the music monoral create is diverse, deep minded, spiritual, and peaceful. Because the guys are amazing. Music can't lie. What you feel when you listen to their music is the truth. Believe it, and you'll be released.
